I used the Nokia Asha 305 recently to try out some game apps on the phone and came out with the verdict that the dual SIM device is perfect for my tween. Anyway, here’s some good news for those who want to carry their Nokia & play with it too (both the young and young-at-heart):
The Finnish phone manufacturer has tied up with leading social games provider Zynga to bring to bring its popular offerings Draw Something and Zynga Poker, to Nokia Asha Touch phones in the latter part of 2012. The phones include the Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311. Previously, Nokia also went into partnership with mobile gaming proponents EA, Gameloft, Rovio and NAMCO BANDAI.
The Nokia Store recently broke the five billion downloads landmark. From January to April 2012, 42% of all content downloaded from the Store was delivered to Series 40 devices, including the Asha Touch range. To-date, more than 500 Nokia developers have apps which have achieved more than one million downloads, while India Games, Pico Brothers and Inode have all achieved more than 100 million downloads.
