Yilinker.com is the latest e-commerce site to grace Manila’s thriving online shopping community.I did some buying here over the holiday season and I must say what a breeze it was to avoid the huge crowds and traffic that characterize the Christmas rush.
I bought a Huawei Honor phone which was at 20% discount on the site (or only P8,900). Then today, a customer service rep from Yilinker confirmed my order and told me to expect delivery within 2 to 3 days.Yay! For those located in Metro Manila, delivery is also free through their courier service called Yilinker Express 🙂
We got to know about Yilinker when they had their launch at Solaire Resort and Casino last December 2, 2015. Bloggers were invited because the site has an Affiliate Program for those with social media following.
Affiliates have the opportunity to earn passive income by featuring selected Yilinker products on their social media sites.
“For our Affiliates and merchants, we offer a selling opportunity at no cost to them, as we handle everything – from marketing to warehousing and logistics. We provide 24/7 customer support so that affiliates and sellers do not have to worry about returns, replacements and refunds. Most important, affiliates can earn up to 60% commission on net profit for each transaction made through your site while enjoying a quick and easy payout system,” Nelson Liao, CEO of YiLinker Philippines told the bloggers.
Liao promised to make the affiliate program strong so that the online businesses and sellers who sign up with them won’t take the additional burden of handling online marketing and advertising for their products.
” With our business model, merchants only need to provide us products with the best price and our thousands of affiliates will be the one to promote them via social media,” Liao added.
Looking at the Yilinker site, I think their strong suit is their electronics section where one can find good deals on mobile phones, computers, accessories and appliances. We also found cheap prices on fashion for men, women, and kids as well as stuff for the home. It’s best to shop early as some of the in-demand items easily go out of stock.
Yilinker is the third biggest e-commerce site in China and Liao said they opened in the Philippines because of the sector’s potential.
Of the country’s 100 million population, 40 % are internet users and majority are social media-savvy.
“Over 90% of the internet users have their own FB account and have an average of 660 friends on Facebook. Users also spend an average of 53 hours per week on social media,” Liao noted.
