Will be blogging less.. (hope not!)

My inability to post in the past few days forebodes a trend that I might be blogging less, and am frustrated with the fact. This therefore comes as a sort of an apology to all those who drop by this humble blog every now and then and getting used to my daily posts. Updating has already been a part of me that I feel guilty whenever I have to neglect my “baby” for a while. But it looks like it for the following reasons:

1. There’s no internet where I work right now. Am not saying it’s okay to blog while at work but at least a decent internet connection has saved me from boredom/mental asphyxiation during down times at work. If I have to be disconnected from the net eight hours a day… life. simply. sucks.

2. It’s school opening soon and am afflicted with the busy working mom syndrome.

3. I have writing assignments to finish. Writing on the side contributes substantially to my income. The ads in my blog do not. In fact, if I have to be practical about it, thinking of earning money from blogging is an illusion since I happen to think it is the most thankless job in the world. But your presence and your comments are appreciated, thank you.

4. There is more to life than blogging. This addiction has taken more of my time than I have imagined. There are simply a hundred other things I must do like work out, shop, go to the market, cook, read books, watch movies, be a friend and most of all be a mother.

See you when I see you. I’ll be blogging less, but sure hope not!
