Vision Express, a leading provider of vision care products and services forges a partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) to launch #VisionForEducation – a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the visual health of students nationwide.
Through this collaboration, Vision Express aims to provide massive eye-health campaigns, free eye tests, and eyeglasses to students in need. Many students face challenges in their academic journey due to undiagnosed vision problems, which impede their ability to comprehend and absorb information. #VisionForEducation helps identify and address visual impairments, ensuring that students can reach their full potential in the classroom.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with the Department of Education in our shared mission to provide better visual health for students,” said Neelam Gopwani, Managing Director of Vision Express. “We firmly believe that clear vision is an integral part of learning, and our collaboration with DepEd allows us to contribute to the overall well-being and academic success of young learners.”
In the coming months, Vision Express, through #VisionForEducation, will participate in a series of DepEd’s initiatives starting with this year’s National Learning Camp and Palarong Pambansa.
“I would like to thank Vision Express for this very significant partnership not only for Palarong Pambansa but with all other programs of the department,” said DepEd Assistant Secretary for Operations Francis Cesar B. Bringas. “We see that the contribution of Vision Express is very essential particularly that it has something to do with the eyes. We know that this is one particular sense that is really helpful when you engage in learning and in sports.
Vision Express is eager to embark on this partnership with the Department of Education and looks forward to making a significant impact on the lives of students through improved visual health.
