May I just say that 2012 is the year when we, consumers, have been deluged with audio products. Blame it on our increasingly mobile lifestyle which calls for headphones & earphones of all kinds. The Swedish brand Urbanears is the latest to enter the market with the opening of its concept store at the Podium Mall in Mandaluyong.
I immediately took a liking to the store’s breezy and colorful layout. Urbanears products come in different models and colors which makes it perfect for the user who wants to complement their taste in music with a sense of fashion.
The store showcases the different choices under the Urbanears label, starting with their entry point product Bagis (P1,250) down to the sleek Tanto headphones (P1,950) and the ergonomic Medis (P2,450).
Of course am also excited to try out the Urbanears Plattan (P2,950) we got. It has earned raves for having the innovative ZoundPlug on the earcap which allows another person to plug in and enjoy the music. Great for bonding! 🙂
Recently, the label unveiled its most upscale product yet, the Zinken (P7,950). It was created with the professional DJ in mind and of course the discerning aficionado. It features the ZoundPlug and the TurnCable for use with a mixer and foamed ear cushions for superior noise isolation. We love the fact that they used materials that do not absorb odor and sweat, so that we can use it rigorously for both work and play.
Congratulations to the people behind Digits Trading (shown here with actor Robi Domingo) for the establishment of the Philippines’ first Urbanears Concept Store!
