One thing for sure: cuteness never goes out of style. And people of my generation (okay, let’s not talk so much about ages here) will be so familiar with Tickles. This novelty store has been there for as long as we can remember. And I just saw it on their Facebook page. They were established in 1979!
Even though I have much more clutter than I can handle, passing by a Tickles store never fails to turn my head. They have these really cool items that you know your kids will love, or just guaranteed to be conversation pieces among friends.
So one day while I was in Megamall, I decided to drop by the just opened Tickles on the basement of Building B. A fellow blogger recommended this branch because it is the flagship store and therefore has the biggest selections.
I immediately saw an apron that’s perfect for giving to a ‘hot’ someone. Lol. Note also the cutesy pens and vintage-style trunks in the background.
Tickles is a haven for pet lovers. They have all these animal-inspired pillows, tote bags, mugs, key rings, stuffed toys and what have you. You will surely find one you’d like. I picked up a dog embossed cup that was priced at only a little above 100 pesos.
I also picked up this musical carousel (P650) and penguin plushie (P295) for my youngest daughter Lucia. And of course, she was once again happy to receive these no-occasion gifts 🙂
The real eyecatchers for me are the pillows. I sure had a great time posing with them. They look like the real things, don’t they? Priced at over a thousand pesos, I highly recommend giving these to your food-obsessed pals this Christmas.
Don’t forget the Yakapsule and Kisspirin pillows perfect for hugging when the nights are cold. Ugh.
For a location that just opened, the Tickles store in Megamall got pretty crowded easily. Too many items that got us curious, made us smile or deem best for gifting for the special people in our life. Like these ones for my alcoholic, party loving friends, haha.
