The annual Samsung AV Roadshow was one of the important events that I didn’t miss last week. On a side note, I finally had the chance to see Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2010 Venus Raj who was invited by favorito PR Franco 😀 Syempre, I didn’t miss the chance to have a photo op! (I didn’t know the man beside her – her Umagang Kay Ganda co-host Andrei Felix – was her boyfriend, until somebody pointed out to me they’re holding hands in the picture).
Venus and her unsatisfactory answer in the Miss Universe 2010. It cost her the crown, but she didn’t seem to mind. She seems happy with her showbiz career now.
Back to the Samsung event, I was simply impressed with the major, major upgrades they’ve made to TV technology. Dump the remote! Did you know that you can activate the new generation of Smart TVs with just your voice or the sweep of your hands? That’s because the TVs are equipped with such features as voice control, motion control and face recognition. Amazing!
With Samsung’s Smart Evolution Kit, you also don’t have to buy another TV whenever there’s an upgrade in the market. You can easily upgrade your TV to the newest technology with a simple slot-in at the back of select 2012 Samsung Smart TV models – making this (still expensive) TV more cost-effective in the long run.
Other interesting stuff at the Samsung AV Roadshow 2012:
Samsung’s new Wireless Audio with Dock with Vacuum
Tube Amplifier (model DA-E750) which looked so sleek with its high gloss mahogany finish and supports a broad range of Samsung’s GALAXY devices and Apple devices.
It has a 2.1-channel speaker and built-in subwoofer with 100 watts of sound and supports wireless audio file playback via AllShare for Samsung Galaxy devices, Airplay for Apple devices or through Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Samsung’s proprietary Vacuum Tube Amplifier technology is also new in 2012 to the HT-E6750W, Samsung’s flagship 7.1 Channel Blu-ray 3D Home Entertainment System. The impressive features of this system: glass fiber speakers, high definition audio via 3D Sound Plus, dual unit subwoofer, compact tower speakers, and built-in wifi.
P.S. Take a peek of Samsung’s latest gadgets uploaded by users themselves with the latest photo sharing site Pinspire. Just type “gadgets” on Pinspire Philippines’ main page and get a glimpse of sundry images from techno giant Samsung. Keep scrolling! 😀
