And so it can be told… after all the traffic, the parties, the mad Christmas rush and at this ripe old age of mine, am still a sucker for presents. It’s such a shame that I got more gifts than my children this year and each time I couldn’t wait to tear open the package even though (gulp) it’s just a dreaded mug lying inside. Only proves that Christmas is not just for children but for the child in adults like us who think that presents are there to bring out the precious smile in our faces, validate our egos and make us feel loved and remembered even for this one big commercial circus in a year.
Here are the simple and zany things that comprised my stash:
A few pieces of clothing like blouses, a jacket and leggings;
Moolah for shopping which I used to shop for other peeps (tsk!tsk!)
Schizo-Gear Multi-function Headwear (one can use this as a scarf, scrunchie, bandanna, blindfold, neckwarmer etc) The label said it has many personalities to suit changing moods and needs, which made me think the giver must really know crazy me so well, haha
Shoulder bag
2007 planners
gift certificates
notebooks
mugs galore
oodles of bottles of red wine
grocery gift basket
Victoria’s Secret underwear
batik decorative plate
chocolates
ham
lipstick/ lip gloss
a couple of towels
Star City ride-all-you-can tickets
Christmas cards sent by mail from the Blogkadahan (thanks to Tatang Romes, Ate Sienna and Mec)
Thank you Luanne Erni of Nokia, Bridgess, Ardent, Canon, Virtusio Public Relations, Dominguez Marketing Communications, Strategic Edge, Jingjing Romero, HP, Lenovo, Vivere Suites (my most favorite hotel in the city), Yayot, Ivy, Mam Vangie, SBM JB, Yuga (for the cute cup I won at Pinoy bloggers’ Christmas EB), and all those who texted/sent their Christmas greetings. The gift is better than the thought 😛 , but heyyyy, it’s the thought first, the thought that really counts.
