Thank you everyone for your comments. Like most of you, I had a laugh when new names came up. All these is a rather interesting facet of our culture. It reflects our fascination/affinity for some things. I would like to know who has the say when the final decision in naming a child comes up. When the 2013 UPCAT results were released last week, local netizens made a fiesta out of the name of one successful examinee Sincerely Yours '98. She's nicknamed Truly and has two other siblings: Spaghetti '88 and Macaroni '85. The numbers stand for their date of birth. Spaghetti '88 has since gotten married and has a son named Cheese Pimiento.
