Sentro 1771 is one restaurant in the metro I'd highly recommend for those in search of good Filipino food. If I had relatives returning from abroad, they'd surely find comfort in Sentro's most famous dish, the corned beef sinigang..or the kare-kare, pochero, adobo, boneless crispy pata and the all-day breakfast treats I wrote about before. Sentro 1771 ( with branches in Serendra and Greenbelt) is my Caucasian hubby's favorite Filipino resto, and his favorite dish is their sinigang na corned beef. He never fails to eat this heaping bowl with gusto, a dish which was undoubtedly made famous by the restaurant. It was a joy to know that Sentro offers breakfast too. Since the place appears to take pride in their own corned beef, made from scratch, ordering the ginisang corned beef was a cinch.
