Xiaomi is unveiling Redmi 2,the much-awaited successor to its affordable smartphone Redmi 1S, starting April 28 As always, it will be sold exclusively online via lazada.com.ph at an introductory price of P5,999. Checking the specs, there's really no radical departure from the Redmi 1S except that th new phone model is lighter at 133 grams (from the old 158 g.) It's thinner too at 9.44 mm from the previous 9.9 mm.
