Top designer Rajo Laurel recently launched his colourful summer bag collection, Athletenique, in cooperation with social enterprise-cum-fashion brand Rags2Riches (R2R) at the Ayala Museum. Rajo designed, and empowered artisans from community-based groups across the country meticulously weaved the bags from sustainable fabrics. Oliver Tolentino designs bags for Rags2Riches
Multi-awarded Filipino couturier Oliver Tolentino designed the bags and the women of Payatas crafted them. They fall under the label Makulay collection, the latest in the designer lin-up of social enterprise Rags2Riches. Previous collaborations were with Rajo Laurel and Amina Aranaz.
