All-day breakfast places are the trend these days and they seem to be sprouting up all over Manila. But before all of them I fondly remember Mr. Jones ... a favorite of the family on the resto row of Makati's Greenbelt 5. It's a nicely-decorated diner with touches of Americana and big Western-style servings. Expect that you won't get bored with the menu because the kitchen always adds a twist to ordinary favorites. Just when I thought I was becoming tired of the Greenbelt restaurants comes now Mr. Jones. It was certainly nice to meet "him" that warm Thursday afternoon, looking every bit like the hip diner I can hang out for hours and hours in. Hmm, I wonder if they have free wifi ~ my attention seems to have been focused on all the food awaiting us. With two appetizer rounds, a sampling of three main courses, dessert and an ice-cream filled drink, the tasting that awaited us was particularly heavy.
