It was that weekend we were checked in Astoria Plaza and nothing seemed to go well. The wifi was (forever) not working in the hotel and our Kapitolyo food trip went sour as there appeared to be coordinated bad service in that dingy place called Three Sisters and Charlie's Grind & Grill next door. A trip to the civilized confines of Shangri-La Mall was definitely in order. This mall has one of the best curation of restos in the metro, so if you want to play safe with your hard-earned moolah, dine here! The Shang's East Wing has gotten so much buzz because of the ... Teddy’s Bigger Burgers of Hawaii to open in Greenbelt 3!
Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, Hawaii’s number one burger, is the latest foreign food chain to enter the Philippines as it opens its maiden store at Level 3 of Greenbelt 3, Makati City (in front of Nanbantei of Tokyo) on Saturday, August 23, 2014. J, beside Buffet 101). With a seating capacity of 500, they pride in calling themselves the biggest authentic Japanese buffet restaurant in town, and they mean it! First impressions: they really stay true to the Japanese theme - from the food, to the interiors, to the decor and the chefs. The Japanese lanterns hanging from the ceiling look like ... Marvin Agustin: 22 restaurants and counting….
We were able to catch up last week with actor Marvin Agustin who has just been hailed the latest brand ambassador of Knorr. It's no mean feat since Knorr as a recognized global brand usually taps noted chefs and other experts in the culinary field. But Marvin is an exception since aside from being a famous actor, he's also known for his growing "empire" of restaurants, among them Sumo Sam, John & Yoko, Mr. Kurosawa, Marciano's, to name just a few. Marvin said he has 22 restaurants at the moment which will grow to 30 within the year as they branch out to the ... Continue Reading...
