Yes I know, it's Valentine's soon and at least three of these things will be in demand: flowers, chocolates and expensive wine dinners. The new Bacon Bar by Machiavelli Chocolatier was something I simply had to have while passing through Essenses in Rustan's Makati recently. It seems that after combining all sorts of exotic things with chocolates, bacon is now the "it" ingredient.
