Caritas Manila, the social services arm of the Archdiocese of Manila has recently graduated 1,604 collage and vocational-technical scholars for the school year 2021-2022 under its Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP). This is the largest batch to date since the program started almost 70 years ago. Caritas Manila Produces 488 Graduates Amid the Pandemic
Caritas Manila’s Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) produced another 488 graduates for school year 2019-2020 even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 488 graduates of college and vocational-technical courses hail from the poorest provinces nationwide as well as urban-poor communities in Metro Manila. Of the 488 graduates, 28 received academic awards with 5 magna cum laudes, 2 cum laudes, 11 dean’s listers and 12 receiving special awards.
