Sun Up to Sun Down was one fun event that Women’s Health Magazine and Femalenetwork.com.ph mounted with Watsons Philippines recently for the metro’s avid sun-worshippers. The whole shindig was held at the sprawling atrium of the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. I guess if you can’t bring the mall to the great outdoors (because we badly need airconditioning in this heat!), then at least bring the outdoors to the mall 🙂
From this event, here’s our fitness tip No.1: Get moving! Even 30 minutes of exercise beats being a couch potato anytime.
And more so if it’s an energizing zumba from one of the city’s top dance instructors, Jill Ngo.
Fitness tip No. 2: Learn something new. Have you heard of Hot Hula ? I haven’t myself till I saw the Philippines’ only certified Hot Hula instructor Vikki Santos strut her moves. It is a fun workout that mixes reggae music with Polynesian drum beats. And we love that it targets your core muscles, especially the abs!
