This day has been filled mostly with tweets, tributes and outpourings of grief from people on the death of the great tech visionary, Steven Jobs.I’ve spent the time re-reading his biography and watching his famous 2005 speech to graduating students of Stanford University. There are many snippets of his life I find inspiring (being an adopted child for one). It’s just quite regrettable that he has to “retire” so early at the tender age of 56.
Short as his life may be, Steve Jobs leaves behind a legacy of greatness in Apple and among millions of users around the world. (You may leave your online expressions of condolence here) The inevitable question now is: what happens to Apple now after Steve? I quite like the meaning of the image below.Apple will definitely not be the same without Steve Jobs. But since it’s a great company, it should continue to be what it is – still churning out one great product after another.
iMourn.
Steve may have gone but his spirit lives on. The spirit hopefully inspires another great innovator to follow in his footsteps.
And it goes without saying: the love for all things Apple will continue to shape our lives.
I will continue to blog using my Macbook which has helped me without fail for the last three years.
Even our baby Lucia is learning how it is to grow up in a Mac household as she watches her favorite nursery rhyme videos on our computers
And suddenly I remember the Mac theme of hubby and I’s prenup shoot:
Apple is love and Apple never fails 🙂 Thank you Steve!
