I and the rest of this beauty queen-crazy country wish Binibining Shamcey Supsup all the best as she competes for the fairest woman of the globe in today’s Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paolo Brazil.We’re proud because she’s both beauty and brains rolled into one.Hopefully too, she will not make any major, major mistake in the question and answer portion. Okay lang madapa while walking coz it makes waves but not bungle the crucial Q & A, di bala?
And if it’s any consolation, brainy Shamcey is being hailed this early as a favorite to win the crown despite the presence of six foot giants from other continents. Ugh.She topped the Telemundo poll of mostly Latin American voters with over two million votes and no less than Lea Salonga has been chosen as one of the judges in the pageant. This can only mean that they’re putting the Philippines on the map indeed.
Shamcey as a shoo-in for the semifinals…. I can smell it in the air!
So we say, go for it Shamcey…give them what you’ve got! 😀
