The Youth & Campus page, one of the Manila Bulletin’s best sections edited by my kumare (and former boss, Ivy Lisa Mendoza) ran a very engaging article over the weekend about Shalani Soledad, the Valenzuela City Councilor who is also known as presidentiable Noynoy Aquino’s girlfriend.
It’s a good read since the pretty (but shy) Shalani is usually not written about in the mainstream lifestyle & society sections. Second, it gives a first-hand insight into a man who’s leading the surveys for the May 2010 elections.
Some of the women which have been linked in the past to Aquino include the sexy actresses Barbara Milano and Diana Zubiri. Then came the newscasters Korina Sanchez (now Mrs. Mar Roxas) and Bernadette Sembrano.
I used to think that men who stay single at the ripe old age of 50 either have a different sexual orientation, or simply hopeless at getting married. Until Mar Roxas married Korina. High-profile people (like politicians) can tie the knot for a variety of reasons. So maybe there’s hope for this Noynoy-Shalani love affair. We’ll be closely watching 😀

Hello everyone! Many of you especially the media people doesn’t really know who shalani is. Her personal life, her family & her secrets..Her secrets, because she simple would give a good smile to people and try to avoid being interviewed by medias. It is because, shalani has got lot to confess but she prefer to keep silent, just give her innocent smile and talk nicely & sweetly. It started when, her mom worked in kuwait for many years & found her step-dad (Dan). Shalani & her brod, “Carlo” stayed with their Mom in kuwait for more than 3years. They were not able to study there because of the high tuition fees. Shalani was almost 16 when she arrived in kuwait & returned to Manila after her debut. Then her mom found a way to get shalani a high school diploma in order that she can enter college.. In short, her mom bought a high school diploma which is i believe is an authentic one. So if you see shalani’s profile “high school in private school in paranaque is a big lie. She never go to school here in manila when she returned from kuwait.. These are just a small part of shalani’s personal life and there are lots more for you to know & research. If you can investigate, because her bestfriend is still in kuwait and she has a lot more to tell you about the soledad. In addition to this, her uncle ramon soledad is a true corrupt person and this must be inform to Senator Noynoy so that when Sen. Noynoy wins, he should not help this person to have a place in his administration.. Sorry but this is ALL TRUE, God help the Philippines…

To Shalani: When people throw stones at you, that means you are a good tree full of fruits. They see a lot of harvest in you that’s why they attack you. Don’t throw back stones at them, throw your fruits instead, so that the fruits’ seed planted in them, will inspire them to change. Don’t go down to their level. Instead inspire them to go up to yours…after all a person is judged by the words he/she utters. If a person has a clean heart and a good character, the words that come out of her/his mouth are wholesome and uplifting, but if the words are destructive and full of malice,kawawa naman siya. Baka galit siya sa mundo or namamatay sa inggit.

Issues on their supposed affair suddenly toned down after the election, it only became a campaign get-on to gather votes. The couple is not getting younger, yet it is sad to note that it seems his so-called commitment to Filipinos became Noynoy’s scapegoat for his reluctance to settle with Shalani, what a cheap reason. I am not surprised of Noynoy’s indiciveness of his handling the hostage crisis in Luneta because of his sheer lack of conviction.
we are very swift in giving comments to people when they became popular either positive of negative. let us always consider the biblical point of view that “what man (she/he) thinks so is he (she). baka naman yung sinasabi natin tungkol sa isang tao ay tunay na ginagawa at nangyayari sa ating buhay mismo kaya lumalabas sa ating bunganga ang paninira natin. kaya if we don’t want others know our real life, let us not judge others negatively, sabi nga madaling lumabas ang katotohanan pag negative ang nakikita sa isang tao na nagsasabi o sinasabihan.
