Samsung Philippines launched last night its super smartphone Galaxy S3 at the NBC Tent in Bonifacio Global City . I’ve already discussed before some of its features but just to give you an idea of its pricing, unlocked units will be sold at P32, 990 ( cheaper if bought in the gray market). Smart telecoms will offer the unit for free with Smart Unli Data Plan 2000 while for Globe, the Galaxy S3 is free with UnliSurf Plan 2499.
Photo shows my old Galaxy S2 (left) with the new Galaxy S3 (in white). There’s not much difference in size but the functions and features have been upgraded. The new Galaxy phone is also more curved and angular, design-wise.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 runs on the latest version of the Android operating system (version 4 “Ice Cream Sandwich”) which makes it capable of running any of the 500,000 apps on the Google Play online store. Another thing to look forward to is its 8MP camera that features touch-to-focus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, burst photography with best photo selection and sharing with friends via face recognition.

Models Kelly Misa and Phoemela Baranda each won the S3 phone in the raffle. Happy to hear that they’re looking forward to playing with their swanky units soon.
I want to have this phone but not with Smart but with Globe.
