At ten months old, our baby Lucia is at her most active and impressionable. She’s already good at imitating words and sounds. I teach her to say something and the she utters the last syllable. She can already clap her hands, squint when we say “beautiful eyes” and point to herself when we ask “who’s the pretty one?” 😀
Toys play a big part for Lucy now because exploring things in terms of how they feel and work is a key to her learning process. There was even a time when everything she touched lands in her mouth. Lately, she was happy enough to get her Rubbabu toy cars when I brought her home some.
I love how these Rubbabus are constructed. They’re the safest things to have because they’re non-toxic and are made of natural rubber foam. They’re soft and the foam finish feels like velvet. Your child will be happy enough to be introduced to a different texture. As for Lucy, she’s getting to know how objects with wheels run. And this toy is not only a bus, but is also a shape sorter….a tool for discovering new shapes like star, circle and triangle.
The alphabet set is a joy and is an indispensable tool to teaching our child the magical world of letters. Rubbabu’s extensive catalogue also lists a wide array of balls, Rubbablox building blocks, aniwheelies (animals on wheels), cars, vehicles, racers and a host of other educational items and playsets.
Find Rubbabu in Rustans and leading toy retailers.
