MAKATI CITY, Philippines – The Philippine Coffee Expo (PCE) 2025 is set to take place from May 9 to 11 at One Ayala, with the theme “Charting New Frontiers.” Organized by the Philippine Coffee Guild (PCG), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Barista Coffee Academy Asia, the event promises to be a major milestone for the country’s growing coffee industry.
Building on the success of last year’s event, this year’s expo will be held at Space by One Ayala, located in the heart of Makati’s Central Business District. The three-day event will culminate with the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC), where the country’s top coffee farmers will be recognized for their excellence in coffee production.
The PCQC aims to identify and promote the best specialty coffees from the Philippines, enhancing their visibility in both domestic and international markets. Through this competition, farmers are encouraged to improve their coffee quality, while also gaining better market access. Winning coffees are presented to specialty buyers during auctions, thus benefiting producers, market actors, and consumers alike.
With strong support from the government, private sector, and other key stakeholders, the PCQC brings together a broad network of participants. Comprehensive guidelines are in place to ensure that the competition’s complexity is well-managed and its objectives are clear to all involved.
Beyond the competition, the Philippine Coffee Expo 2025 will showcase a variety of exciting features, including:
- Kape’t Kwentuhan Sessions
- Local and International Speaker Sessions
- Coffee Exhibition
- Business Matching
- Product Demonstrations
- Roasters-Producers Forum
