In her short-sleeved faux leather jacket and denim get-up from Topshop, Ford Supermodel of the World 2011 Danica Magpantay shows a feminine side to being rugged. While I think wearing leather jackets in humid Manila is an anomaly, Danica tells us that there’s a stylish way to do it. She reveals that she hates shopping though….it’s her mom Lala Flores who chooses the clothes for her. She’s in town as part of her commitment for Fashion Week 2011 and will fly back to her models’ apartment in New York soon.
Danica provides an insight into her model’s life when she said: “In New York, it’s all work, work, work for me. It feels great to be in Manila with the warmth of my family. In New York, people can be quite cold.”
