When my kids are in the house, they are an unusually noisy bunch. However, there's one activity when they huddle together in intense concentration and see what busy mom is doing: Baking Time!Yes indeed, it was time once again to bring out the baking pans, measuring spoons and cups for the monthly Is My Blog Burning foodfest showcased by fellow foodies from all over the world. This time around, the monthly event is hosted by Maki of i was just really very hungry and revolved around a theme I love the most: muffins and/or cupcakes.I dig this because cupcakes are easy to ... Blog-O-Rama update
grfx by Polo, originally uploaded by ajay1.The second installment of my newspaper column on blogs is now online and am glad the oh-so-popular Sassy Lawyer has helped me spread the word by mentioning about it in her blog. The Philippine blog scene is exciting and so rich with materials that I shouldn't have a problem looking for suitable content in the next months or so.In the meantime, next week's discussion on "How Blogging Started in the Philippines" should be an interesting one. It was in Pasay that I was suddenly transformed into a rabid supporter of the population control program. I couldn't even make a decent walk in the evening because there were all these kids -either dirty or naked - ... Continue Reading...

Like any newbie who has blogged for less than a year or so, I don't pretend to be the most knowledgeable person in web publishing. As the saying goes in Tagalog: "Marami pa akong kakaining bigas." But that hasn't stopped me from being engrossed with what I consider to be one of the most amazing revolutions ever: the phenomenal growth of our blogosphere. This led me to propose to an editor of my former newspaper: "how about a section on blogs and Filipino bloggers?" The idea was just as soon approved and yesterday, my maiden article came out. I am happy yet sad that all ... Continue Reading...
