Dona Elena Olive Oil, the leading brand in the Philippines, recently brought to town the famed Spanish dance group, Origen, to showcase a lively Flamenco performance at the Circuit in Makati City. The Filipino audience was treated to a cultural fiesta inspired by the music of the legendary Paco de Lucia, a Spanish virtuoso flamenco guitarist, composer and producer.
Seasoned flamenco dancers, Cristina Carrasco and Javier Serrano, sizzled on stage with their captivating dance moves made to the accompaniment soul-baring music.
“In Origen, the old and deep sound of the flamenco guitar, in the hands of Alberto Marín is united onstage to the characteristic sound of the flamenco singers and to the fineness of the flute. The music of the show does not only sound, it speaks and lives,” the show’s preview stated.
