Don’t know if this will be my last group outing for the year but am off to the sunny island of Guimaras today, with stop-overs in Bacolod and Iloilo. Will keep you updated with my posts in the next few days (supposing there’s internet on the island, most probably none!!)
My Brazilian equals the beach equals the glorious island life…who could ask for more??;)

Hi… sorry I missed you when I was in Manila.. you were roaming Palawan then.. didn’t stay long in Manila anyway… had to explore Panay, Negros, Cebu and Bohol.
A fine hotel in Bacolod is the ” Sylvia Manor “.. check it out, great value for great price. In Iloilo I stayed at the Midtown hotel, also great value for great price.
Once in Bacolod a visit to Mambucal is a must… walk to the six waterfalls and and do some wall climbing 🙂
And about Guimaras I can only say… the sweetest mango’s and the sweetest people. There is a nice resort ( Raymen Beach resort ) with a restaurant where they serve the best chicken barbecue you can think of.
Well… have fun, I am sure you’ll discover even better places.

Great tips Pascal. Am back and unfortunately wasn’t able to go to the place you mentioned because I only went to Iloilo and Bacolod to eat for our stop overs and do some pasalubong shopping. I ALMOST went to Raymen but didn’t push through for lack of time. But still, this latest trip of mine was paradise…
Thanks for dropping by Jane and Toots. Vina, your place is great. Been to the places you mentioned (except the McDo) on a previous trip and they’re the reasons why I always want to go back again:smile:
