Last week, I got the news that I’ve received the Top Contributor badge on Trip Advisor. This only means that I’ve done 50+ reviews on the site of the hotels, restos and attractions I’ve visited in the past two years.No big deal but it’s my way of giving back to the travel community since I consult, even rely on Trip Advisor member ratings whenever I go to certain places. So far, they’ve had a good batting average as far as recos are concerned.
2012 has been a bummer for me when it came to travelling as I poured my funds on my business + real estate (& a toddler I can hardly separate from!). I looked at my calendar and realized that I’ve only gone to Subic, Macau/HK, Legazpi, Cebu and minor staycations in the city. Hopefully 2013 will be a better year and especially since airfares are getting cheaper. The last time I looked, Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong was selling at P3,800++ on Ensogo!
Am still focused on finishing the Asia/Southeast Asia loop before I can even think of exploring Europe & North America again (besides, I dread long plane rides!) . There’s Siem Reap scheduled for January 2012 and (hopefully) Sri Lanka in February. These locations remain on my travel bucket list NOW:

Bali (& other places) Indonesia
Seoul, South Korea
India!
Sydney & Melbourne Australia
