Unlike the free entrance policy of the Cuenca bazaar, my family had to shell out P50 each to enter the Noel Discovery bazaar at the World Trade Center in Manila. I grumbled a bit. I mean, why do we have to shell out money to be able to patronize something that’s earning from the tenants already? I just hope the fees they collected go to charity as the place was just packed with people on the day of our visit.
And unlike the Cuenca bazaar which was in a remote location, I thought the Noel bazaar had less security. The WTC being in the boundary of Manila, Makati and Pasay made it more susceptible to undesirable elements coming from all three cities. Why do I say so? because hubby lost his old Motorola cellphone in the middle of shopping. We almost had to find each other via Morse code! 😀
Despite everything, I also enjoyed the items at the Noel bazaar. Here are some of the stuff I bought:
“Product of a good experiment” onesie from Lalaughka, as worn by our baby Lucia. I think this is one of the best times to be a baby, or have a baby 😀 I am seeing cute onesies with witty slogans everywhere!
The cutest baby booties which I bought for P350 from an awesome stall called My Bulileet. Lucia hasn’t really been wearing shoes when she goes out since her socks which looks like shoes are enough.
A children’s book slash soft toy which I bought from another stall selling educational items. I got this for only P400.
A funny tee from shirts.ph. The hubby loves his Spoofs Ltd. t-shirts, and this brand is an alternative. 2 tees for P695, but the regular price is P395.
Stumbled upon this stall which sold pretty accessories from Korea for only P250-500. I thought they were value for money, so I grabbed some. I am loving the black onyx ring with zebra prints on the side right now.
As if all my shopping isn’t enough, I hope to visit more of the Manila Christmas bazaars 2010. A lot more are opening this December. Will keep you posted 😉
