Shopping (read: retail therapy) was the one thing I sorely missed while pregnant. The heaviness of my belly just made it uncomfortable for me to walk from Point A to Point D of the mall. Thankfully, we got lots of stuff (mostly clothes) from relatives and the office baby shower. Hubby also happily took charge of choosing the crib, car seat and stroller. Chicco was one great store to shop in since they discounted your total bill by 10 per cent if you become a member for just P100. Here’s the Mr. Z in action at the Chicco store 😀
Being the bag hag, I wanted to be serious about choosing my own designer diaper bag, preferably in the line of a Kate Spade or the Hammit Bel Air used by Angelina. In the end, I decided to go local with a utilitarian bag from 2 Oranges, a Multiply seller. Mostly I chose it because it’s got a nice shade of red, the same color as the baby’s Chicco car seat and stroller 😀
At the USEC Shoppers Day bazaar, I drooled over the dainty and colorful baby furniture and accessories made by Two Tots. Their website is full of nice ideas to prettify a nursery. They also make personalized pillows and beautifully-crafted stuff like peg hangers, picture frames and art buckets ~ especially made for kids!
Babinski Baby is an online shop put up by three hands-on moms. Their baby socks are just cute, though I wish they have more onesie designs to choose from. Their swaddler infant wrap and sack-o blanket are helpful for keeping babies safe and secure while asleep. We had a good lesson about swaddling at the hospital and we learned that a good wrap simulates their previous life in the womb.

If you’re an infanticipating mama with little time to shop, there are a host of stores on Ebay and Multiply offering all sorts of baby stuff. Some of the baby shops also have a web presence now so you can peek at their merchandise before going to the actual store. It’s just a matter of looking 😉
Diaper bags for girls says
I also like Chicco. I bought everything there, the basic stuff like diaper bags or more expensive things like furniture. Their products are really good and with a discount even better.
