Blogger Rico Mossesgeld tries his hand on the just-launched NEO Elan L4300-3D
Even though am not a hard-core gamer, I can’t help but appreciate NEO’s top-of-the-line, first-ever 3D gaming laptop. Especially as just a few days ago, the whole family watched Toy Story 3 in IMAX. Viewing things in 3D totally brings entertainment to a different dimension, like the games and movies we enjoy.
Judging from the NEO Elan L4300-3D specifications, it seems only the best was put in the whole package: Intel Core i7-740QM CPU, nVidia GeForce GTX 285M graphic processing unit which is reportedly nVidia’s fastest mobile GPU, BluRay combo drive, 15.6″ HD 3D panel, and USB 3.0. The nVidia 3D Vision Kit is also included, a.k.a 3D glasses, as well as Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) and one-year warranty on parts and service. Official laptop weight is 3.3 kg.
Having this beast doesn’t come cheap though as it is priced at close to 100 thousand pesos (or $2,000++) but knowing hard-core gamers like my husband, they really go all-out for quality not to mention you can’t talk to them once they start playing
Anyway, at the launch event held at the Amber Lounge in the Fort, I was lucky enough to win the grand prize which is the NEO Basic B3300 netbook. I still can’t believe it..in some way or the other, I must have regained my mojo 😀 Thank you to NEO, and the NEO execs who are with me in this pic like VP for Planning and Operations Mutya Syling, NEO Product Manager JP Domingo, Marketing Manager Roma Ramirez and most especially, PR & Advertising Specialisto Alainne Figueras-Leonardo who invited me. Cheers!
I am excited to try the NEO netbook soon 😉
