The 40 candidates for Miss Philippines Earth 2017 are on a whirlwind schedule now that it’s less than two weeks to go before the crowning of new title holders on July 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
We were thrilled enough to meet nine of the lovely ladies when they paid a visit to Yoshinoya Glorietta 1. It was good to hear their platform for contributing to the preservation of Mother Earth. The ladies were articulate and young yet already clear about their determination to do something for the environment.
The girls’ visit were of course capped by having a delicious dinner at Yoshinoya. They enjoyed sampling specialties such as the tempura, ramen and the famous Yoshinoya beef bowls. There was good service from the crew and the candidates even had picture-taking with the restaurant guests that night. A mock voting was also held on who the audience favorites were and the one who garnered the most votes was Miss Ozamiz City representative Celine Mae Pangan
Had to take a snapshot of Miss Marikina City, Miss Ozamiz City, Miss New Zealand and Miss Lobo Batangas because they were in front of me. Who knows one of them could be Miss Philippines Earth 2017?
Good luck ladies!
