We’re only human so I like being invited to mother-daughter events. The reason is simple: it’s not only me enjoying but my kid as well. It exposes her to different things and meet people, she could develop more self-confidence.
Oftentimes, the activities in these blogger events are educational such as what we had in the Licealiz “Kickstarting the Learning Experience” at the Mind Museum recently.
Most kids have gone back to school so the topic at hand was very relevant: how to take care of one’s hair, and maintain good hair hygiene, specifically protecting our little girls’ tresses from lice infestation (mind you, I have 3 daughters and this was a common problem with them).
Stylist and make-up artist Bambi De La Cruz taught the mommies present different hair styles for school and daily looks. I thought this was very useful since a well-styled hair can really make the girls look neat in school.
And after the lecture, it was our turn to do it on our babies. The best-styled ones won prizes. We didn’t win because fixing hair is not my talent, lol 🙂
After the demo and lecture came the best part. My daughter Lucia and I visited the different exhibits of the Mind Museum. There were many interactive parts that she thoroughly enjoyed, we even joined a quiz show!
The Mind Museum is not so big, but it has lots of Instagram-worthy spots.
Anyway, I used to think where head lice come from. The culprit is that it’s easily spread among classmates, friends or even at the salon. That’s why it’s handy to always have items like Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo. It has a non-toxic formula that’s clinically-proven to kill lice and nits. Not to mention it’s very affordable too.
Thank you for a fun afternoon!
