Lovin’ my Hed Kandi

As a listener, I prefer headphones over earphones. What about you? Whether at the gym or just plain strutting to music on my iTunes at home, I like it when my listening device fits snugly over my head. Somehow, I feel a sense of security when I do this. Earphones tend to fall over my ears and I have this habit of pressing them in for tightness. Not the most comfortable feeling in the world 😀

Of course am lucky that am not wearing glasses that will obstruct how the headphone is secured in the back of my head. Recently, I got a Discotheque headphone from Hed Kandi, the international label with these hip line-up of musical accessories. The first-time buyer would surely be enticed by the cool packaging. It’s good enough to be given as a gift as much as it is something to treat yourself with.

With a regular retail price of P1,190, this gadget is quite reasonable, considering that my V-Moda earphone is $100 or so. Since this Hed Kandi comes in several colors, I can buy a few to suit my gym outfit (so Paris Hilton-ish I know!) or give a couple to my twin girls who are getting addicted to music too. Colors like baby blue and pink are simply irresistible.

What else do I like about this headphone: the soft-touch finish to the ear-cups which is comfort to my ears and the fact that it’s lightweight and sturdy. Most important, sound performance is up to par with my other earphone. Expect me to be buddies with this Hed Kandi for a long time.
