Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes, a 25-year old business management graduate from the African country of Angola was crowned today Miss Universe 2011 in glittering ceremonies in Sao Paolo Brazil.
Standing at five feet 10 1/2 inches tall, she succeeds Ximena Navarrette of Mexico. She will stay in New York City and perform numerous goodwill missions throughout the globe as Miss Universe 2011.
The other winners of Miss Universe 2011:
1st runner up: Miss Ukraine
2nd runner up: Miss Brazil
3rd runner-up: Miss Philippines
4th runner up: Miss China
I heard she did not grow up in Angola (sounding bitter, am I?)
