In video: Jessica Sanchez singing a cover of the popular Aerosmith song “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing.” There’s much cause for jubilation among the Filipino community tday because we just heard the news that Jessica Sanchez made it to American Idol Top 2! This means that the Fil-Am-Mexican girl tracing her roots to Bataan is just a step away from being declared a champion of AI Season 11. She will slug it out with Philip Phillips for the grand showdown on May 23 and it could just be that she is on her way to making Idol history as the youngest winner in the competition at the tender age of 16.
Even if she loses the final round, we think it’s still a win-win for Jessica as reports state that she’s still in the bag for a recording contract with a major label.
