The blogging doctor TessTermulo over at Prudence and Madness asks me some questions that matter:
Q. What are the 5 books that made great impact in your life?
Catcher In The Rye by JD Salinger
Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
(these first two were my favorites in high school)
Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere (I simply believe our national hero is brilliant)
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
most works by Paulo Coelho
ugh! sorry no Harry Potter…
Q. What do you think should be done about plagiarism of blog content that is rampant nowadays?
A. Unless we have a watchdog to guard against the plagiarists, it’s a lost cause. But I do know that bloggers always speak with a loud unified voice whenever plagiarism happens in real life. Personally, I don’t care if anybody plagiarizes me for just as long as you read it here first and you don’t let me catch you. IN the first place, am no JK Rowling 😀
Q. If you’re given the chance to have a one-way trip using a machine that can teleport you through any part of the continuum of time and space, where would you teleport yourself to?
A. Am so badly in need of a vacation that I would be glad to be teleported to any place right now. Some of the places I fancy – Pangasinan,Bohol, Davao and the islands of Cebu in the Philippines; Penang, Bali, Vietnam, Sydney and the south of India when it comes to places abroad.
Q. Can a person be moral without religion?
A. I think so. Morality can stem from a higher cause and not just religion.
Q. When is your birthday? If you’re to receive a birthday gift on that day, what do you want it to be?
A. My birthday is on October yet.
Cheesy as it may sound but I would like to get the gift of loving and being loved.
Of course, a shopping expedition, a nice quiet dinner and a cool getaway vacation wouldn’t hurt too. 😛
Aaaach..this blogger is super- tired after a killer work week and social life. I don’t even think am making much sense here. Thanks Dr. Tess and have a nice weekend everyone!

Thanks for answering the questions! I hope you enjoyed ’em. 🙂
I also like the books you’ve mentioned.
I think I’m getting paranoid about blog plagiarism. Probably because I think I’ve shared my best works on my blog and I don’t want anybody claiming it as their own. This is one of those things that make me wish there are laws regarding blogging.
I would also like to visit those places you’ve mentioned. I haven’t visited that much places in the Philippines which is quite a shame :-(.
Yes, I do agree that a person can be moral without religion. I’m sure plenty will disagree but I already hold a certain disenchantment about organized religion. Politics has already tainted it and has obscured a more important thing which is spirituality.
And I’d love to have a shopping expedition too. I’ve got a never-ending wishlist. Hahaha.

I think you forgot to react to the Sam Harris’ quote. But it’s okay, anyway 🙂
