We only stayed for one day and two nights in Bangkok during the last vacation to Thailand. The real purpose of our trip was to check out The Royal Cliff Beach Hotel where I got an invite to stay at their Mini Suite Sea View Plus accommodations. Frankly, I didn’t know what to expect.I had this image of Pattaya where men spend time to have fun, and it’s not the wholesome kind 🙂
My first impression of the place would be shattered because the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel was where we spent a truly wonderful family holiday!
We were off to a good start when our limo driver came to fetch us. The beach town of Pattaya was about two hours from Bangkok in moderate traffic, so a transport service really helped.
When we arrived, the grandness of the lobby impressed me. It was HUGE! The place had a resort feel, and yet exuded class and luxury all around.
This part overlooked the pool area…
It wasn’t just one pool, but three pools, including the infinity one with jacuzzis…
As expected, Lucia felt at home in the kiddie pool where she made some friends…
As our stay progressed, she made more friends in Funtasea, the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel’s play & recreation area where kids can slide, play computer games and tinker with toys for only 100 baht an hour.
It was a long way from Manila to Pattaya and the kid-friendly, family-oriented features of the resort made it all worth it.
In my next post, I will give you a tour of our room and the other facilities/amenities that can be enjoyed in Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya 😉
