in Katipunan: Tokyo Bubble Tea + Honeybee Patisserie!

As its name implies, Honeybee offers breads and cakes but they’re also a full-service resto with a menu different from TBT.

Here’s what I sampled from the Honeybee menu:

The truffled salad (P175) has apple slices, bleu cheese and nuts on a bed of greens

My favorite is the creamy clam chowder – perfectly seasoned, with diced celery, carrots, potatoes and flaky crust on top (P188 per serving)

A hefty plate of roast beef with gravy plus poached egg,vegetables & garlic fried rice! (P248)

I liked the Sakura mango roll because it wasn’t too sweet. Besides, I melt at the sight of dainty pink cakes.

Verdict: perfect place for chilling and eating, if you happen to be in the area
