i-Shine Talent Camp TV nurtures the next child stars

I’ve written before about the Promil I-Shine Talent Camp and guess what? 12 children have already been chosen in a nationwide talent search and are now being showcased in the Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp TV, airing Sundays starting June 12 on GMA network after Showbiz Central.

Each episode will have the i-Shiners receiving stars for their performances. The i-Shiner awarded the most stars at the end of all workshops will win the grand prize of P200,000, a contract with GMA Artist Center, and the title of Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp TV’s Grand Shining Child Star!

In each episode, Kapuso stars will mentor the kids to hone their talents in the different fields. At the press conference to launch the show, they also gave tips for parents on how they could help nurture their child’s talents at home.

Jolina Magdangal, i-Shine mentor for Hosting, offers this tip for parents to help them nurture their pre-schooler’s talent. “Wag sasabihing lagot ka. Encourage your kids and always be positive.”

Meanwhile, Gina Alajar, i-Shine mentor for acting, shared that, “I would say if they feel and see that their kids are leaning more to arts, music, dance or whatever that interests them, try to hone that. Encourage it without pushing them. Always be available to support them.”

The pre-school years are a crucial age for talent development as this is the time where kids are highly active, constantly playing and discovering new things; a time when signs of talent starts to emerge.
