Manila’s such a crazy place, and last Sunday there was this tech event where the guests didn’t seem to know what to look at: the cool, sought after gadget or the good-looking hunks carrying them.
Simply put, which would you rather have: the new Huawei Flash LTE mobile wifi hotspot or the muscled hottie with chiseled looks and blonde hair in a 6’2 frame?
It was hard to choose really! 🙂
Big telecoms brand Huawei had this brilliant idea of giving its customers both the thrill. The Huawei Hotspot Hotties (as they were called) came dressed in red pants like modern-day Santas ready to give the lucky ones brand new mobile wifi devices. A few of my blogger-friends shot two birds with one stone (‘alone time’ with the hotties plus the latest Huawei LTE pocket wifi). I arrived late so was just content seeing the models up close, shown in this photo with the equally cute Huawei Country Manager Charles Wu:
Media colleague Dinna Chan-Vasquez was being prophetic when she said: “naku Annalyn, mapapagalitan ka ng mga anak mo” (your children will scold you). And true enough, this boy with such magnetic sex appeal strolled in front of me. I thought he was the younger brother of Hideo Muraoka!! This picture of the 25-year old British-Filipino Azkal Graham Caygill doesn’t do him justice. He’s really more deadly in person. Ampfff.
The others were rooting for the Russian model Alex Kuznetsov (leftmost). And those who have a fetish for men in ponytail will surely dig Dominic Samoisette (middle). Or how about the French looker Antoine Guyon? (right)
And now comes the dark-haired headturners: (from left) Ander de la Guerra, Kane Sareen, Charlie Sutcliffe…
More hotness: Nathan Biggs

Sam Turner ….
Ten male models, three Huawei state-of-the-art portable wifi to choose from..how cool is that?
We got our eye on the Huawei Spark which is the world’s most compact 21 Mbps 3G router. It has an upload speed up to 5.76Mbps and likewise boasts of a startup time of just 5 seconds. With its 1500mAh battery, the Spark can last up to 6 hours of continuous usage and a standby time of up to 300 hours.
The other hot new devices are the Huawei Flash, an LTE enabled portable hotspot that can connect up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices with download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speed of 50Mbps, and the Huawei Lightning (B315) LTE CPE Router. This router can connect up to 32 devices and is deemed ideal for small to medium enterprises as it can deliver maximum speeds of LTE CAT4 150Mbps through its Gigabit Ethernet port.
