It was time to ‘pretend rich’ once again as we were billetted in a two bedroom penthouse suite over the weekend. Funky momma was off to work and brought the Three Cute Musketeers with her.
We were on the 29th floor of this hotel which I liked so much for its design and cool Asian interiors. The Hong Kong hotel was pretty but this one was prettier and right smack home.
Nothing beats being on the executive floor. We had our own personal butler on call….
who gave the kiddies lotsa juices and chips.
Dianne paused for a moment to marvel at the splendid view. Looking down one can see the Alabang skyline with a panorama of those tall Makati buildings and Laguna de Bay further up. It was refreshing to see all the greens and the palm-fringed avenues.
My son Paolo, who loves the water so much, wasted no time frolicking in the infinity pool. It is right in the middle of the hotel coffeeshop on the top floor which treats one to all that breathtaking view.
Birthday girl Dionne stayed glued to the television…
And I found time to test the cross trainer at the gym. Look at the building in the background..
My favorite part of the day: the buffet breakfast. I loaded up my plate with the ggodies while still feeling that I didn’t have enough. For $10, the hotel had good breakfast selections which included a long list of entrees, breads, salads, appetizers, the egg station, cereals, congee, dimsum, fruits etc. The desserts were quite wanting but you’d really would rather have papaya and pineapple won’t you?
A dip in the jacuzzi on our last day where the butler prepared the bubbly tub and a fresh fruit shake for moi (he didn’t take this picture of course, lol)
One thing I found out: the jacuzzi doesn’t feel so good on a hot summer day but I had to have my jacuzzi poses just the same..heheh
Three days and two nights in our penthouse suite on the executive floor passed by soon enough. The twins and their bro had so much fun and were certainly sad to let go.
Back to the real world!!

Strange… aren’t jacuzzis great when it’s hot? The weather, I mean.
Nice photos, Ajay! Congrats to the mystery photographer. Gelo looked quite happy, nevertheless. 🙂

Hi Ajay, happy birthday albeit belated to your twin girls. That weekend reprieve looks fun! So what do you do, your newspaper sends you to places and you write a review? It sounds like such a fun job.

haha, you are teasing me Manuel. Might as well frolic in the jacuzzi while young and able, di ba?? Correction, not too young pero able pa rin, lolz. The mystery photographer was my twentysomething nanny who must have been shocked with her amo’s actuations:lol:

Hi Jane. Kumusta na ang beach adventure mo? There’s a link in this post on the hotel..
Yeah Tintin..lucky, lucky!
Delish, oo nga pala taga-Alabang ang family ni JRA> Do try it guys sometime. You can start with the weekend buffet. I heard dinadayo sya.
But I forgot to mention in this post, Alabang is like a province already!! Taxi at toll pa lang, holdup ka na, hehe. But then who am I to complain, libre ang stay?
