I got a confession to make: graham crackers is one of the favorite snacks. It can be eaten on its own, or paired with my favorite tea or coffee. It’s definitely addicting, and I say this because once I open a pack, I can’t stop eating ’em. This is one treat I enjoy sharing with my daughters because they like it too.
The weather has been gloomy lately because of all the rains. Am not a fan of this season because it gets all dark, wet and flooded in some parts of the city. Our activities get to be limited and there’s no choice but to stay at home. Thankfully, I experimented with a recipe in the kitchen that delivered me from the immense blues I was feeling. I got the recipe from an M.Y. San Grahams pack and the taste was enough to make me smile because it was oh-so-yummy. Mind you, it’s healthy too and filled me up for breakfast. It equipped me with enough protein and energy to start the day.
The Mango Float Shake tastes just like those bestselling mango franchises found in malls….yum! The best thing is that this homemade Float Shake using M.Y. San Grahams can be prepared in a little less than ten minutes. Make sure to get a few cups to share with the rest of the family because the kids will not be able to resist the deliciousness of this treat!!!
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp. MY San Crushed Honey Grahams
2 tbsp. all-purpose cream
2 tbsp. condensed milk
1/2 cup ripe mango
1/4 cup purified water
1 cup ice
PROCEDURE:
Place together all-purpose cream, condensed milk, ripe mango, water and ice in a blender and blend until smooth
Prepare a mug or cup, then place M.Y. San Crushed Grahams in bottom layer (note: you can add more of the crushed honey grahams according to your preference, instead of the 1 tbsp. stated in the recipe). Pour the blended mango shake until full.
Top with more of the M.Y. San crushed Honey Grahams and more of the diced ripe mango bits, if you desire.
ENJOY!!!!
