One of Asia’s leading on demand video services, HOOQ, recently celebrated its second year anniversary at the 20-20 bar in Makati. We thought it was fun, even though there was Martial Law at the buffet station, lol. Manila’s party people, celebrities and models were there to cheer with HOOQ, especially as it sets its sights on even bigger things on Year 3.
Here’s a photo essay of some beautiful people at the party –
CEO Peter Bithos gave the usual motivational and hopeful speech….
Beauty queen Christi McGarry and Eduardo Lara were spinning at the DJs’ booth….
Well-buffed models were on the house in their jungle-themed costumes….
Most of the bloggers chose to have a photo with Magic Mike aka the Swedish-Italian model Davide Pasqualini. That includes me, hehe.
Tim Yap was the program emcee. Among the celebrities we spotted were popular actor Xian Lim and Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago.
Recalling the formula for their success, Jane Cruz-Walker, HOOQ Philippines Country Manager, noted: ““In the Philippines, we made sure to put together the best Filipino content for our subscribers with a combination of the top local studios and independent filmmakers. This combined with HOOQ’s strategy of serving premium Hollywood content, as well as our key distribution partnership with Globe has contributed to making HOOQ the regional leader.”
