Originally uploaded by annalyn. Yay! I finally got my brand-new iPod Mini last Friday. It is so cute, sooo pink and so pretty.Of course it helps that I’ll be paying for this stuff paiyakan at zero interest till December, sort of like an advance Christmas gift to myself..hehe.

Prior to this, I was also seriously thinking of getting the Sony Walkman NW-E507 1GB flash MP3 player. It is supposed to be Sony’s answer to the iPod Shuffle. The fact that the Big Boss recommended it means it’s definitely good. I can attest to this fact since I’ve been testing this tiny bundle and I must say am impressed because the battery hasn’t cranked out of me even after two weeks of regular use. Audio quality is also superior and charging takes only three minutes on the accompanying USB port.Unlike the Shuffle, this one has an FM radio and a display and you can actually choose which songs to play by artist or album via a user-friendly “twist” mechanism.

Considering that both devices are almost of the same price range, I had to settle in the end for the Mini which had a higher 4GB memory and ability to synchronize my contacts and calendar list. But I must say both gadgets are outstanding. I wonder what the gods of invention will think of next.
