It was my first time to visit the Franchise Asia Philippines expo 2019 over the weekend and I have to say it really got my attention. Entrepreneurship is in full swing if you visit all the booths and get a hold of all the business ideas present. There was also so much food! 😀
In a world teeming with mango graham dessert float concoctions, there was a booth I spent the most time in. It was inviting because they had a beauty counter teeming with makeup from where an experienced artist will happily apply their samples on you.
Welcome to the world of Magical Posh Cosmetics. I have to say it was my first time to stumble upon this all-Filipino brand as they are not in the “mainstream” yet. They’re more into online selling now (on Shopee, Facebook etc.) although they will start to be sold in some SM Hypermarket branches this summer. My verdict after the official swatching and testing: the products are definitely better than some major labels out there in the market. Nice packaging too.
But first, a bit of a background. Magical Posh Cosmetics is the brainchild of Ms. Ghie Pangilinan, the woman behind the Skin Magical skincare line which first gained popularity online. Her husband used to be a seafarer and she was dabbling in online selling until she discovered a way to manufacture their own papaya soap. This became ultimately successful, a hundred other products were born and Skin Magical became a big company with an army of franchisees and resellers nationwide.
Any business person will tell you that the secret to success in the mid-range market is having a high quality product at a reasonable price point. These Magical Posh tints (priced at about P195) will definitely be something that my 18-year old daughters will like and be able to afford. You can use it on your lips, cheeks and even as an eyeshadow!
I super liked the Magical Posh lippies, especially the Ultra Matte lipstick range with its lineup of attractive colors. Among these are Berry Pink, Dreamy Peachy, Plumtastic, Inflamed Red, Rustic Red and Champagne Pink. They’re highly pigmented and contain healthy ingredients as aloe vera, grape extract and Vitamins C/E. The promise is that these matte lipsticks won’t dry the lips.
The matte lip lacquers are quite impressive since they really last long and are quick-drying. Perfect for those looking for a lippie that won’t fade after eating in the Samgyupsalamat buffet.
Another favorite of mine is their Cloud La Magic Tint. You pump the bottle and out comes a white liquid. Then when you apply it on your cheeks, it turns pink and has the glowing effect of a highlighter. What’s not to love?
Other products worth checking out are the cushion eyebrow powder (Magibrow 3 in 1), the CC cushion, concealer, blusher and highlighter, among others.
Magical Posh Cosmetics is open for franchisees, stockists, distributors and resellers. Follow them on social media: @magicalposhcosmetics on Facebook & Instagram
