‘Cue is one of the successful restaurants in BHS Central at the moment. It gets packed, even on weekdays. We hear it from sources that ‘Cue is owned by first-time restaurateurs. This convinces me of the fact that great-tasting food & good menu selection is the key!
Warning! Don’t go to ‘Cue if you’re a vegetarian or just starting your Cohen diet. You’ll definitely suffer 🙂 ‘Cue is for die-hard carnivores (read: can’t live without meat) and families or big groups who want to relish their comfort food like finger-lickin’ ribs and more!
Proof of the fact that ‘Cue is a meat lovers’ haven is this bone marrow & steak tacos with roasted corn and salsa verde (P485). I love how they present bulalo in a different light. Although a carnivore like me can just attack the bone marrow meat & fat pronto… no more folding the tacos. This dish is a bit pricey for its serving but still a must-try.
A whole slab of BBQ baby back ribs. Don’t miss ordering this because it’s one of the best in town. They come with sides, and I especially love the sweet potato (kamote fries.)
The chicken pot pie came highly recommended, and I agree. This had good flavor and I will definitely order this again when I come back. I just wish the crust of the pie was more flaky.
I heard people are raving about the house burgers (P395) . One serving consists of a seriously big, all-beef patty with melted cheddar and veggie toppings. I thought I wanted more flavor and saltiness in the meat, but am really not a burger expert. I don’t even like mustard. 🙂
Beef belly with an innovative side dish called chili monggo… a filling meal in itself.
We also ordered mac n’ cheese. Perfect for picky kids. But then again….
you have to try the desserts (supposing there’s still space in your tummy after all the meat-bingeing). We vote for the caramel pecan cheesecake and the choco chip cookie cake. Yum yum!
P.S. I love the animal designs on the wall showing the body parts of the pork, chicken and beef. Very educational! 🙂
