The modern Filipina is definitely more than just a beautiful face. Being a unique mixture of East and West, she is strong and hard-working, with the uncanny ability to balance the demands of both work and home.
Indeed, there’s no better time to be a Filipina woman, especially in this era when borders no longer matter because of the internet and social media. Pinays can do so much in terms of achieving greater things and advancing in their careers.
Despite this, a brand survey revealed that 7 out of 10 Filipinas are still settling – unfulfilled with where they are professionally, feeling like they can do more than what they are doing now. However, they refuse to go further due to self-doubt and lack of means and opportunities.
Cream Silk, the leading hair care brand from Unilver wants to change this and inspire the Filipina to never settle, to always strive for greatness because there is no dream too big for her. To do this, Cream Silk launched its brand purpose campaign #ConditionedForGreater at the sprawling Palacio de Memoria recently. In attendance were Manila’s most beautiful women including the two Miss Universe queens, top actresses, models and influencers.

That night, the celebrities lay testament to the fact that a pretty face can launch a thousand ships but the inspiring story behind their victories can also inspire their followers to always rise above their opportunities to make a mark in the world.
In the dinner gala at the Palacio tent, a film was shown featuring outstanding Filipinas who
have gone from good to great: Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, award-
winning entertainer Nadine Lustre, actress and artist Heart Evangelista, among others. These
women serve as role models for all Filipinas to continue to work hard and strive for greater
things, no matter what path they take.
To reach more Filipinas and provide them with access to more opportunities, Cream Silk
