There’s supposed to be no typhoon but Manila has been experiencing heavy rains which is already threatening people living in low-lying areas and raised the flood alert level to RED, meaning evacuation is necessary. That’s according to the weather bureau, PAGASA.
Am surprised there’s still no brownout as I type this… just thankful that am in the comfort of our bed rather than wading in Manila’s dirty flood waters. It’s better to stay indoors at this time, but this reality is not the same for most people whose place of residence is far from their offices or schools. What a hassle.
As of 10 pm today, most local government units and schools in Metro Manila have suspended classes in most levels.

Manila – all levels
Makati City – all levels
San Juan City – all levels
Taguig City – all levels
Antipolo City – preschool to high school
Pasig City -preschool to high school
Laguna – all levels
Pasay, City – all levels
Bacoor, Cavite – all levels
Navotas – all levels
Marikina City – all levels
Mandaluyong City – preschool to high school
Taytay, Rizal – all levels
Cainta, Rizal – preschool to high school
San Pablo City, Laguna – preschool to high school
Rodriguez, Rizal – all levels
Balanga City & Pilar, Bataan – all levels
Valenzuela City – select schools

though there is no typhoon it’s only a monsoon rains but still it is dangerous to go outside.. PAGASA is doing a great job this time.. they now alerting people to prepare precautionary measures much earlier..
