Shucks! One day to go and it’s December. Which means Christmas is less than a month away!
It sure felt like Xmas on the first week of November when we got a Chupa Chups delivery at home. The kids were most happy, especially my youngest Lucia. Her sweet tooth knows no bounds.
Chupa Chups is a recognized worldwide brand and its logo was designed by no less than Salvador Dali. Did you know it was invented by a Spanish guy, Enric Bernat in 1958 before being bought out by the Italian-Dutch company Perfetti Van Melle?
The brand’s name comes from the Spanish word chupar, meaning “to suck.” Chupa Chups is surprisingly active in the anti-smoking campaign worldwide where it rallies people to “Stop Smoking, Start Sucking.” 😀

We did attend the Chupa Chups #ForeverFun 60th anniversary party held recently in Bonifacio High Street. It was super fun indeed, complete with Instagrammable neon decorations, games, prizes, celebs, good food and booze from TGI Friday’s.
